The new Australian flag I designed on the piece of paper is for me the Australian flag. I do not like the current one we have. The flag I would like is one the represents Australia the island (a star) in a sea of blue under the southern cross with the 8 star points representing the governance structure of Australia the 6 states and 2 territories. The colours of the star are the colours of the very beautiful Australian land that is green for the edge (star tips) gold for the body and the centre is okra (the colour of the Australian inland I think the North territory flag has that colour).

If you think with your experience the flag needs some design alteration I am happy to take your advice. I just want the flag I fly on the 1st of January 2014. This design is much more like that which symbolizes the wonderful Australian land that I am so lucky to live in.
